As a group of independent computer shops we have joined together to obtain the purchasing power and name recognition normally available only to larger national companies. Our licensees operate under their own names but add the Whiz Kid Computer Center logo, as a sign of quality, to their title. Only one out of every one-hundred computer shops can qualify to be a Whiz Kid Computer Center. All of our licensees have passed rigorous qualification standards so that they can proudly display the Whiz Kid logo. Our Licensees must have a minimum of ten years of experience and demonstrate that they are in good standing with their respective communities. Each Whiz Kid Computer Center has served thousands of customers and is considered the premier technology shop in their market place. In other words, we are the cream of the crop and the Whiz Kid logo is the national name by which we are all associated.

Because each of our independent computer shops is already successful Whiz Kid does not tell licensees how to operate their businesses. Whiz Kid is another powerful tool to help make their companies more successful. How many of the Whiz Kid resources an individual shop decides to use is completely up to the licensee. Some use all of the tools, others very few. However, we all benefit by displaying the Whiz Kid logo. It is our goal to have the general public recognize that Whiz Kids, not computer Geeks, are the best people to service and buy their current and future computers.

As our numbers grow, the Whiz Kid Logo will become as recognizable to the public as The Geek Squad. The name alone will drive business to the licensees. And that will, of course, make the licensee's business more valuable.
